Malaysian track cycling legends Shah Firdaus Sahrom and Azizulhasni Awang turned heads by delivering a stellar double podium performance at the Japan Track Cup 1. The experienced tandem proved their world class capabilities by fighting through elite international fields in the high speed keirin discipline.

Affectionately known as the "Pocket Rocketman," the veteran Azizulhasni showcased his signature explosive tactical positioning during the final lap to secure a hard earned sprint bronze medal. Concurrently, rising female cyclist Nurul Izzah Izzati Asri added to the national medal tally by clinching a brilliant bronze in her respective women's keirin event. The cumulative haul emphasizes Malaysia's deep talent pool in velodrome racing.

The successful campaign provides crucial ranking points as the national cycling federation builds toward end of year championship cycles. Both coaching staff and mechanics are actively fine tuning technical gear ratios based on track data collected in Japan. The contingent returns to Kuala Lumpur this week to resume centralized high performance training camps.
