KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 — Samsung is poised to launch the Galaxy S24 FE, an affordable flagship smartphone, just after the iPhone 16 release. Scheduled for September 26 at 10 PM, this model is the successor to the Galaxy S23 FE and aims to provide flagship performance at a lower price point

The Galaxy S24 FE will feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2x display, a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and a 10MP front camera. It will run on the Exynos 2400 chipset and come pre-installed with Android 14 and One UI 6.1.1. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens.

While no pricing details have been announced yet, it's hoped the device will be priced under RM3,000 in Malaysia, similar to last year’s Galaxy S23 FE. Pre-orders are expected to begin shortly after the global launch.

Samsung may also unveil two flagship tablets, the Galaxy Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra, which are rumored to feature MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chips, Dynamic AMOLED 2x screens, and 45W fast charging. Both tablets are expected to receive 7 years of Android OS updates.
