Mother Arrested in Kluang for Allegedly Scalding 10-Year-Old Daughter with Hot Water"
KLUANG, Dec 4 — A 32-year-old housewife was arrested last night for allegedly abusing her 10-year-old daughter, causing severe burns.
The incident came to light after the girl’s school headmaster reported discovering burns on the child’s back, believed to be caused by hot water, along with bruises on her leg and cheek. Police detained the suspect in Kampung Tengah at 12.30 am.
The mother is now under a six-day remand while investigations continue under the Child Act 2001.
