KUALA LUMPUR — Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin assured that preparations for the National Service Training Programme (PLKN) 3.0, which kicked off yesterday, are fully in place to ensure its success. This includes arrangements for accommodation, health, and food for the trainees.
“This is the first series of the programme, with three more planned for the year. We will assess each phase and make improvements where necessary,” he told reporters after visiting the trainees at the Territorial Army 515th Regiment Camp.
Congratulating the 120 trainees for volunteering, Mohamed Khaled emphasized that the programme would foster unity, patriotism, and mutual respect among Malaysia’s multiracial youth. He also inspected the food hall and living quarters, stressing the importance of resilience, character building, and national unity through the training.
