Six Arrested After Puchong Home Invasion Leaves Two Men Severely Injured
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28 — Two men were severely injured when 11 masked intruders armed with machetes broke into their home in Puchong's Jalan Bunga Melur at midnight on Saturday. The suspects, aged 23 to 28, were arrested yesterday evening, and a machete was seized from them.
Subang Jaya deputy police chief, Supt Mohd Fairus Jaafar, confirmed that the suspects have prior criminal and drug-related records. They have been remanded for three days for further investigation under Sections 394/326 of the Penal Code for robbery and causing injury with a weapon.
The attackers, arriving in three cars, hacked the victims—aged 31 and 38—in the living room before fleeing. Both victims were rushed to Sultan Idris Shah Hospital in Serdang and are now in stable condition.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward by contacting the Subang Jaya District Control Centre or the investigating officer, ASP Khairulazizi Ismail.
