PUTRAJAYA — Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said that compliance with the newly implemented Price Marking for Drug Order 2025, effective May 1, has been encouraging. Private clinics and pharmacies won’t face penalties in the first three months, as the ministry focuses on educating providers during the grace period. Dzulkefly noted that facilities are using various methods, including QR codes, to display prices and expressed confidence in wider adoption. He also welcomed Terengganu’s upcoming vape sales ban from August 1 and reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to regulating vaping under the new smoking control act.
