KUALA LUMPUR — The body of a man who had been missing since April 28 was found floating near Pulau Pisang in Pontian on May 4. Fishermen alerted the Marine Police after discovering the bloated body around 11am.

Despite severe decomposition, the man's body, clothing, and skin tone allowed his family to identify him. The man had left home on the morning of April 28, prompting his family to file a missing person report.

A post-mortem confirmed he died from asphyxiation due to drowning, with no signs of foul play. The case is classified as sudden death, and police are asking for any relevant information.
