KUALA LUMPUR — Concerns are growing about the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's (MACC) actions after key witness Datin Pamela Ling went missing on April 9, ahead of an interview.

Lawyer Sangeet Kaur Deo, representing Ling’s family, questioned whether MACC filed a missing person’s report when Ling failed to attend her scheduled meeting. Ling was set to assist with an investigation into money laundering and terrorism financing but disappeared before her interview.

Sangeet raised concerns about whether MACC took adequate steps to protect Ling, especially as she may have had access to sensitive information.
