KOTA KINABALU — Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor reassured that Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) remains united despite recent tensions sparked by Usno's demands. Following a high-tea meeting with all seven GRS component party leaders, Hajiji described the gathering as cordial and said all presidents pledged to back GRS in the upcoming state elections.

Usno president Tan Sri Pandikar Amin had earlier warned that his party might exit the coalition over feeling sidelined. His concerns were echoed by STAR president Datuk Seri Jeffrey Kitingan, who called for broader unity talks with all Sabah-based parties. Other leaders, including Datuk Yong Teck Lee, urged mutual respect and humility among coalition partners.
