Police rescued 16 foreign nationals, including seven children, from forced labour during coordinated “Op Pintas Mega” raids across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Conducted by Bukit Aman’s Anti-Trafficking Division, the operations also led to the arrest of 45 individuals for immigration offences and several employers suspected of exploiting underage and migrant workers. Raids targeted a restaurant, construction site, and car workshops, with victims aged as young as 14. The joint mission involved multiple enforcement agencies focused on combating human trafficking and protecting vulnerable groups.
