IJM Land Bhd celebrated the 15th anniversary of its MyHome CSR program by completing and handing over two rehabilitated homes in Seremban and Sandakan. This initiative, started in 2010, has now assisted 23 families nationwide. In the past financial year, they rebuilt a home in Sandakan for an elderly man and his children and completely rebuilt another in Seremban for a stroke survivor and his family of four, whose house was structurally unsafe. The rebuilt Seremban home now has three bedrooms, a proper kitchen, and improved living spaces, fully furnished by IJM Land. The Sandakan home received a new water system, kitchen, ceiling, wiring, and fencing. IJM Land's COO, Datuk Chai Kian Soon, emphasized that MyHome is a way for the company to give back to communities, aiming to provide safe and nurturing homes. The program, which began in Seremban 2, has expanded across Malaysia.
