Biopics on political leaders, film stars, and sportspersons are becoming increasingly popular. While a biopic on music maestro Ilaiyaraaja starring Dhanush is in the works, another political figure's life story has now been made into a film.Titled Ayya, the film is based on the life of PMK founder Dr. Ramadoss. It is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Cheran, known for Autograph, Pandavar Bhoomi, and Thavamai Thavamirundhu. Actor Aari plays the role of Dr. Ramadoss, and the first look of the film has now been released.
