A 21 year old motorcyclist was tragically killed after his vehicle crashed into a stray cow along a main road in Tapah, Perak, early this morning. Local police confirmed that the victim was travelling toward his workplace when the animal suddenly wandered into his path from the dark roadside. Due to the poor visibility and low lighting conditions at the time, the young rider was completely unable to avoid the sudden collision.

The immense force of the impact threw the motorcyclist off his machine, causing him to suffer severe head injuries and internal trauma upon hitting the asphalt. Paramedics who rushed to the scene pronounced the victim dead at the location before transferring his body to the Tapah Hospital for a post mortem examination. Traffic investigators have classified the tragic incident under the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.

The fatal accident has renewed intense public outrage among local residents regarding the ongoing danger of livestock owners letting their animals roam free near major routes. District officials are urging farmers to secure their cattle properly, warning that negligent owners can face criminal charges for endangering road users. Police have also advised motorists to exercise extreme caution and lower their speeds when navigating poorly lit rural roads at night.
